Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4p-5p.

Most days will be in the media center but may use A or B Commons if needed.

Snacks and Transportation available.

Students who stay after school can either be picked-up or use the 5pm Activity Bus. Of course, approved students may also self-transport.

With report cards forthcoming, this time may be particularly valuable to students who want to improve their current grade status, get additional academic or organizational support, or to make up missing assessments or assignments.

Our plan in response to a school closing is to return to the schedule we would normally have which is a Singlton schedule.

Thank you to everyone who has made our CHS Pantry a HUGE success to date. Our plan is to keep it running as long as we can keep it stocked. Located at the main entrance of CHS, our pantry is here to support students and families who may need a little extra help—no sign-up or appointment required. Please feel free to take what you need, when you need it.

Mourning Circle is our 6 week grief and loss group facilitated by CCS and Region Ten staff that will be launching this semester. This group will be a supportive space for students to connect with other students who have experienced loss: to share stories, learn coping skills, and process complex feelings. We hope this group will provide students a space where they feel less alone with their grief and can find support within community. 

This section is allocated to PTO updates.

CHS has an active PTO which helps support our students and teachers and staff.

Let’s “shower CHS staff with LOVE” in February. We plan to raffle prizes, offer a potluck breakfast, chalk the sidewalk with positive messages and bring snacks to the monthly staff meeting the week of Feb 17-20. We would love help soliciting gift cards and/or prizes to be raffled. If you happen to be at your favorite restaurant, coffee shop, book store, hair salon, etc that is the PERFECT time to ask for a donation. We would definitely appreciate gift cards to local establishments!
