Freshmen
Link Crew is a freshmen mentoring program that starts with a freshmen orientation and continues all year long with guidance from Link Crew Leaders (juniors and seniors)
During Freshmen Orientation, students will connect with other freshmen and Link Crew mentors, spend time acclimating to CHS, and follow their school schedule. Lunch and bus transportation are provided.
Right after Freshmen Orientation ends, freshmen families are welcome to join their students for a “Freshmen Families Only” hour of Open House. This is a chance to tour the school, process your student's schedule, and to meet teachers in their classroom at your own pace.
Each freshman is connected to a Link Crew Leader who is their point-person throughout the year.
Link Crew Leaders are junior and senior student-leaders who represent the diversity of CHS and are motivated to help freshmen find success in high school.

An afternoon party in May where seniors wear gear representing where they’re headed after graduation.

On their last day of school at CHS, the senior class does a walk through the halls to be cheered on by Black Knight Nation

After rehearsal for graduation, seniors are invited to return to the CCS elementary schools for a parade through the halls in their honor. Wearing their caps and gowns, they are cheered on by the staff and students of their elementary alma maters.
