Fall Cabaret this WEDNESDAY!

Happy FALL!!

Good Morning theatreCHS! Welcome to the official start of Fall! I hope that you were able to enjoy the extended weekend, and that you can look forward to the many events ahead. With the start of Fall comes the BUSY VHSL/VTA season! Before we kick it into high gear, we invite you all to attend our first theatreCHS Thespian Officer organized Cabaret of the season!

All acts are offered to any student at CHS who wants to show off their talents, (singing, acting, magic tricks, you name it!) This will occur this Wednesday at 7pm in the black box theatre.

While this event is FREE, we are also having a bake sale, as well as accepting donations!

Proceeds will help to offset some of the burdensome costs of One-Act festival, (VTA) as well as our upcoming NYC trip!

Theatre I students completed their MOVEMENT unit with AMAZING silent 🎞️ FILMS! 🎬

This week we continue our VOICE and SPEECH unit! Students will be working toward Radio Plays and Voice Over TV commercial this week and next!

Both One-Act Plays have set builds that are now officially in PRODUCTION.

Please check individual Parent Square message boards for VTA and VHSL regarding tech week dates.

AND, our FIRST SET BUILD FOR ALL who want to participate including for students is THIS Saturday at 11am !

Students have started rehearsing of Kodachrome which was cast lask week. Robin Baranowski student director is off to a terrific start.

VTA Trip Parent Meeting WEDNESDAY 6pm

Parents of VTA Cast/Crew

we will have our mandatory Parent Meeting this Wednesday (before the Cabaret that we hope you will also attend) This meeting covers trip information and is a required meeting for all participating students and families participating on the trip. We will have the meeting at the end of rehearsal on Wednesday. The meeting will be in the black box theatre.

Parents of Cast members for "Beggar's Opera" You should have received a parent letter last week asking for your agreement for participation in the VTA conference Oct 22-24.
